How it all started
Meet Madalina
After spending years growing up in an orphanage in Botosani, Romania. "Hand of Help", Mada came to Wisconsin Dells in 2015 on the student summer J1 work VISA program. It was here we learned of the desperate need she and other students faced while trying to earn money to take home for their College expenses. From needing the essentials to guidance, mentor-ship, and logistics taken care of
to succeed.
Fast forward to today, Mada is now married to our son Staff Sgt. Kendrick Schmidt and on the board of directors advocating for J1 Visa Students and the help they need.
Adoration Abode has partnered with Hope Fellowship of Wisconsin Dells and Second Harvester's of Southeastern Wisconsin to equip and facilitate a meaningful summer experience.
Items needed are backpacks, cooking utensils, cookware, silverware, washcloths and towels.
